Bach Concert at Dedee Shattuck Gallery

Dedee Shattuck Gallery hosts an evening of classical music featuring Renée Hemsing on violin and Guy Fishman on cello. The musicians will perform Bach’s fourth suite for unaccompanied cello, BWV 1010, and the exquisite sonata in d minor for unaccompanied violin, BWV 1003, which ends with Bach’s monumental Chaconne.
Guy and Renée are experts in historically-informed performance practice and will be using a cello made in Rome in 1704, and a violin from Holland, made in the 1720s.
