August Artist of the Month: Cate Becker

MaiatoFitz Art Gallery & Studio hosts work by Cate Becker for the entire month of August. Cate’s art focuses on multimedia contemporary figurative painting, abstract urban, farm, and
coastal landscapes. She experiments with contrasting the natural/industrial, the organization of
perspective/form, and the elapsing/ebbing of time. While expressionistic, Cate fashions figurative subjects
which hang onto line and shape, pulling out the essential color and energy of the subject. The gallery is open Fridays, 4–7 p.m., and Saturdays, 12–4 p.m.
