Annual Friends of the Library Meeting

Anyone that is interested in the New Bedford Free Public Library’s goals can become a Friend. Simply join by coming to the next meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 21, or email Director Olivia Melo at: friendsnbpubliclibrary@gmail.com

Who Are the Friends?

The Friends of the New Bedford Free Public Library is a nonprofit organization that supports the library by raising funds to sponsor library activities such as the summer reading program, cultural and educational programs for all ages, and purchasing new materials.

The Friends group is essential for promoting library services throughout the community.
