“All Hands” explores the fascinating link between American whaling and the U.S. Navy. Michael Dyer, Curator of Maritime History, looks at the intersection of whaling and the U.S. Navy from the 19th century to World War I.
This exhibit features art, objects, and stories from sailors who served in the whaling and naval worlds, including Herman Melville.
