Insights from the CFRF/WHOI Shelf Research Fleet Oceanographic Findings
June 27 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

The movement of warming waters and intrusions of warm, salty water shoreward from the edge of the continental shelf have raised concerns on the impacts to the ecosystem and commercial fisheries. Have you been noticing anything different about your catch this year?
The CFRF staff, together with Dr. Glen Gawarkiewicz from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution will be hosting a workshop for the commercial fishing industry to share results from this project, plans for the future and a discussion of your at-sea observations and how these oceanographic changes may be impacting your fishing.
The workshop will be from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27 at the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center. It will also be live on Google Meet.
