Christmas Card Workshop — Multi Media

The mixed media card workshops are on Thursday, Dec. 11 or Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon. The fee is $35.

Participants create handmade cards for Christmas, other holidays, or everyday occasions. The class covers collage and decoupage, stamping and stenciling, painting, and creative arrangement. Instruction focuses on building skills that can be used again and again.

Using guided composition and imagination, students paint, layer, glue, and experiment with paper manipulation and found materials. Each card is a personal expression designed to feel thoughtful and meaningful. A wide range of materials is available, with many ways to explore style and emotion.

Some finished pieces may even be frame-worthy. One recipient shared that the care and effort behind the card made it so meaningful that it was framed the same day.
